PHILADELPHIA, PA – TruSight is pleased to announce the successful origination of a strategic acquisition for our client, FormativGroup. The acquisition of Eon Collective, a specialized data and analytics consultancy, marks a significant milestone in the growth of FormativGroup.
This transaction represents the second successful engagement between TruSight and FormativGroup, following the initial sourcing of Access Global Group. The addition of Eon Collective strengthens FormativGroup’s capabilities in data architecture, governance, and AI readiness, further cementing its position as a leader in the middle-market technology consulting space.
Strengthening the Foundation of Modern Enterprise
FormativGroup, led by Chief Executive Officer Gene Chao, was launched in partnership with Rockbridge Growth Equity to build a strategic technology consultancy across the middle market. The platform focuses on modernizing application development, workflow design, data architecture and integration solutions.
The acquisition of Eon Collective is a deliberate move to enhance the Data capabilities pillar of the FormativGroup mission. Eon Collective brings a deep bench of experts in data engineering and strategy, powered by their proprietary ADEPT technology. ADEPT allows for rapid, automated assessments of technical landscapes, ensuring that digital transformations are built on a foundation of clean, optimized, and actionable data.

The deal was originated through TruSight’s Retained Buy-Side Search practice, led by Jennifer Davis. TruSight worked closely with the FormativGroup leadership team to identify a target that not only complemented Access Global’s Salesforce-centric service offerings but also aligned with the platform’s high standards for technical excellence and client service.
